Start with samples, not a container
A first order should be small enough to test the product in your market. Ask for samples of the styles you are considering, wear them, photograph them, and check the three things that decide whether fashion jewellery reorders: plating colour, stone security and weight.
- Plating colour — compare the gold tone against pieces you already sell. Tones vary between suppliers.
- Stone security — press each stone and look at the setting from the side. Glued stones fail first.
- Weight — a piece that feels hollow reads as cheap on the shelf.
Minimums and mixed orders
Many suppliers publish a high minimum per design. We work the other way: a mixed order across styles is normal, because a boutique needs a range rather than 200 pieces of one ring. Minimums are set per order, not per design, and the exact figure depends on the styles and the size run you choose.
If a supplier will not quote a mixed order, the real minimum is whatever a single design costs — which is rarely the right first purchase for a small shop.
What the quote should include
A useful quote separates the goods from the freight. Ask for:
- Unit price per style at your quantity
- Size run and packing method
- Shipping method, cost and estimated transit time
- Whether duties and taxes are included (usually not)
- Lead time from payment to dispatch
If any of these are missing, the price cannot be compared with another supplier.
Shipping and lead time
We ship from China. Express couriers are the usual choice for first orders because they are trackable and fast; consolidated shipping is cheaper per kilo for larger repeat orders. Tell us the destination country in the enquiry and we quote the freight with the goods.
Before you reorder
Check sell-through by style, not just the total. A range that sells 80% at full price is worth repeating; a range that sells only after discount is not. Ask for the same plating batch where colour consistency matters, and keep one sample from each order as a reference.
Ask for a quote
Tell us the styles, quantities and destination country. Mixed orders welcome.

Questions buyers ask
Can I mix different styles in one order?
Yes. Mixed styles and mixed sizes are normal for us; tell us the styles and quantities and we will quote the order as a whole.
How long does shipping take?
Transit time depends on the destination and the method. Express is fastest; consolidated shipping is cheaper for larger orders. We quote both with the order.
Are duties included?
No. Import duties and taxes are set by the destination country and are not included in our quote.
